Industry-Ready Training equips you with the essential skills needed to drive the future of Medtech

Gain competence in Medtech R&D processes through training in clinical trials, regulatory requirements, research ethics, and medical device development.

Research & Development

Develop skills in analyzing and navigating commercialization with a focus on stakeholders, regulations, and Medtech market dynamics. Students complete modules in IP, finance, and digital health.

MedTech Business & Commercialization

Understand healthcare system structures and processes through virtual reality experiences with medical devices. Talent will complete modules on diagnostics, AI, and clinical simulations.

Virtual Clinical Immersion Training

Build skills in project management, professional communication, and workplace practices. Talent will complete modules on emotional intelligence, networking, diversity, and transferable skills.

Eligibility

1. Be currently enrolled as a graduate student in

     a) Any MedTech-related program at Toronto Metropolitan University or McGill University

     b) Biomedical Engineering at University of Calgary or Dalhousie University

     c) Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto


2. Complete all of your coursework requirements and research and will be in the writing phase of your thesis by:

     a) August 30th, 2025 - Internship starts September 1, 2025

     b) December 30th, 2025 - Internship starts January 2nd, 2026
     c) April 30th, 2026 - Internship starts May 1st, 2026
